The Building Department works to ensure the life safety and durability of structures built within the City. The Building Department reviews development and construction plans and inspects structures for compliance with the City’s building codes (structural, mechanical, plumbing and electrical).
The department works with developers and builders prior to construction to ensure that plans for development and construction will meet City requirements.
