City Hall

The City of Higginsville City Hall’s primary responsibilities are record keeping, billing of City services, collection of revenue, and accounting duties. During non-working hours, calls are automatically answered by the Higginsville Central Dispatch Center.

For customer convenience, a drive-up window and a night deposit are available at the rear of City Hall and customers also have the option of an automatic deduction. City Hall would be happy to assist you with any inquiries that you may have concerning our services.

  • Cemetery – Assist public with lot purchases and burial information
  • City Administrator – Supervises operation of all departments
  • City Clerk - Maintains City Finances & Records
  • City Collector – Tax billing and Collection; Dog, Business and Liquor Licenses
  • Economic Development -- Business attraction, retention, incentives, and demographics
  • Electric – Service connects/disconnects and payments, Electric Water Heater Rebates
  • Mapping – City Utility Maps and Assets
  • Park – Accept Registrations and Fees
  • Police - Municipal Court
  • Street – Street Cut Permits, Curbing and Sidewalk Rebates, City Wide cleanups
  • Trash – Billing and Collections
  • Water & Wastewater – Service connects/disconnects and payments,Plumbing Permits, City Lake Fishing Permits
